Mask Making – ‘Connecting the Inner to the Outer’

Join artist Eleanor Greenwood for three weeks of mask making to express and represent something that is important to you. It could be a place, an event, a joy, a wish for the future. Design, experiment and create your mask. The final session will involve masking up, where you will be guided to embody your creation.
£75 all materials included and suitable for all abilities.

Outline
Week 1 – Design and create using pre-made blanks, lay down first layer and initial sculpt.
Week 2 – Attachments and structures including found objects, personal items. Start decoration and painted elements.
Week 3 – Final decoration, words, painting and embellishments. Masking up and embodying your creation.
